NHN is a soft composite material consisting of three layers of insulating paper made by bonding two layers of NOMEX paper with an intermediate layer of polyimide film coated with adhesive.
Properties
NHN is a soft composite material with a heat resistance rating of N (200°C) and excellent mechanical properties such as tensile strength and edge tear resistance, as well as good electrical strength. Its surface is smooth, ensuring trouble-free operation when used in automatic winding machines for low-voltage motors.
NHN can be stored indefinitely under normal conditions (20°C, 50% relative humidity).
Typical Application
Services such as master roll, slitting, slicing, and stamping moulding are available for typical applications.
NHN is mainly used for slot-to-slot, slot cover, and phase-to-phase insulation in low-voltage motors. It can also be
used as interlayer insulation in transformers or other electrical appliances.
